Gath GEDI Water Sports Helmet

Please confirm your size and colour with us before ordering. GEDI is a fitted helmet available in several sizes; one helmet does not fit all head sizes. The listing currently has no size or colour selector.

The Gath GEDI combines close-fitting coverage with removable ear protectors and Gath’s Comfort Strip Fitting System.

• Manufacturer sizes: S, M, L, XL, XXL and XXXL.
• Manufacturer colours include Black, Luminous Yellow, Orange, Safety Red, White and Yellow Matte; availability must be confirmed.
• Helmet weight: approximately 450–490g, depending on configuration.
• Includes removable ear protectors, spare comfort strips, chinstrap, anti-rash sleeve and storage bag.
• Optional peaks and visors are sold separately.

Choose the correct fit

Measure around the head at mid-forehead, just above the ears, and use the manufacturer’s GEDI sizing guidance. Head shape matters; Gath recommends trying helmets on where possible. A helmet should fit securely and comfortably before use.

Manufacturer specifications

Gath lists EN1385 certification for canoeing and whitewater use, CRITT Protocol CS-003 05/2019 surf-helmet certification and a three-year manufacturer warranty. Follow the manufacturer’s intended-use, inspection and replacement guidance. No helmet can prevent every injury.

We order and ship as soon as we can possibly get them to you. We also choose our products because they work, not just because we have lots of them. In peak seasons there are lots of people trying to source the best and so, because of that we sometimes have to source our products. We will always deliver to you (wherever possible). If there is any delays, hold-ups or we are simply chasing a swell and can't get it to you, we will notify you and keep you updated all the way.
